He was offering Norman that.............so...............it's not that far fetched.

But, I digress.  It won't happen.

I think he was extending the tag to Norman which is not the same is having multiple years at $14mil.  Secondly, JNo is an undisputed top 10 corner unlike Haden.

You don't think Haden is a Top 10 corner?  Welp, I'll just end this now.  Good talk, sir.

It is closer to $11m.  The $14m is his cap hit.  Some of that is dead money from his signing bonus that we wouldn't be responsible for.

This is actually extremely viable. Haden is a younger player than Norman and would be receiving far less. Not as talented but still very good. Wonder what the asking price would be. A 2nd would immensely tempting.

Norman is an undisputed Top 3 CB. Joe Haden has been Top 10 for quite a while.

Y'all know we won't do it.

I mean, I'd be surprised if ANYONE did it to be honest. Thomas has been on the block for what seems like the past 3 years and hasn't moved, and Haden is a shell of his former self for whatever reason. If Dave wasn't going to fork over 14 million for Norman he sure as hell won't pay Haden that much, because Haden isn't as good as Norman.

People on this board have no patience when it comes to draft picks, I swear. When Short didn't do anything year one everyone lamented that pick, now he's our best D-Lineman by far. Give the Corners at least 2 years before you start trying to replace them. If they're any good then we'll have them at bargain prices in the near future.

Thomas though, I'd give up a 3rd round pick for him and kick Oher out to the right side. That's only if we have to absorb his contract.

Gary Barndige should be the target, you help the OTs , the running game, another target for cam and keep the defense fresh

I'd say Gary had his shot with the Panthers.  I'd be interested in a mauling runblocking TE and FB in a big way.  Our run game is trash

then you should probably stop listening to those people.

Or I could not listen to you and one other dude on the huddle haha.  He's a good man corner and would be the best on our team.  I still don't think he's top 10 sorry

    • "I'm not stunned," Hansbrough said. "We talked about it at halftime, you asked me 'you have to be pretty happy.' And I said, 'No I've seen this story before.' I've seen this happen. They just had some lapses in games where they just go still offensively, defensively. Their competitiveness just drops a little bit. They never step on anybody's throat. When they have a team with a little bit of a lead, they never step on the throat. It's been something all year." The only disagreement I'd have with Hansbrough's assessment is that it's not limited to just this year. It's been Hubert's entire tenure. Hallmarks of Hubert's teams are: streaky shooting, streaky focus, running your starters into the dirt because you won't sub, and absolutely embarrassingly bad plays put of timeouts. It all points straight to the coach. When the roster keeps changing but the core fundamental issues keep recurring, it's not the players.
    • Leafs are broken. Out of the playoffs and Matthews done for the year.  It's either a very dangerous game against a team who doesn't give a fug and will leave it all on the ice, or a team who's thrown in the towel with an effort to match. And, yes, I'm sitting in the Miami Airport waiting on my next flight. Will be back in Lenovo both 28 & 29 for the b2b.
    • I’m guessing this counts as top 30 visit.
