Illegal motion should negate the play cause it was pre-snap so the personal foul shouldn't count

Cam had intentional grounding after the snap meaning the personal foul shouldn't have offset the helmet to helmet

The PF especially shouldve stood in Cam's case being that the impending blow to the head that had been allowed to go on all night influenced the throw.

You guys are retarded. A 15 yard personal foul always overrules an offsides. Its been that way for years. Now a 15 yard penalty will offset to a grounding tho which is what happened in week 1.

You CANT change rules after the season has started...

It wasnt an offsides penalty, mr.wizard.  it was a pre-snap illegal motion penalty on the offense.

Simple 5 rule. Was about to smash tv with an axe until it was explained. One of the few ways penalties don't offset

One of the few times they felt the need to explain the rule. If they hadn't done that, I don't know how the fanbase would have reacted.

For anyone else like me who was not in an environment where they could hear the explanation:

Quote

Section 3
Fouls by Both Teams
DOUBLE FOUL WITHOUT CHANGE OF POSSESSION
Article 1
If there is a double foul (3-11-2-c) without a change of possession, the penalties are offset and the down is replayed at the previous spot. If it was a scrimmage down, the number of the next down and the necessary line is the same as for the down for which the new one is substituted.
15 YARDS VERSUS 5 YARDS
Exceptions:
(1)   If one of the fouls is of a nature that incurs a 15-yard penalty and the other foul of a double foul normally would result in a loss of 5 yards only (15 yards versus 5 yards), the major penalty yardage is to be assessed from the previous spot. See 4-8-2-c-Exc. 2 and 14-1-9-Exc. 2 for dead ball fouls at the end of a half.

And Illegal Shifts are not dead ball/pre-snap fouls since the shift doesn't become illegal until the center snaps the ball
