If there ever was a time a coach should be fired after a Super Bowl.

oh and when the Broncos did it They still made the playoffs that next year(got Punked by the colts). Gettleman would never have the balls to fire Ron if we made the play offs, this is all fuged and I feel like we are going to be looking back and putting Cam and Mcnabb in the same sentence.

I don't think it's accurate to say theyre not fighting for Rivera anymore. The offense was clearly out there fighting. Defense was too, but you have vets like TD and Luke having to babysit the rookie CBs out there, and pass rushers who just aren't any good. I think they're all fighting, but the inexperience and certain players not being very good are bringing stars like Cam, Luke, and Olsen down. They're having to do twice as much to carry the ones bringing them down

We have one of the greatest potential QB's to play for us..............and we are just wasting away his prime years with dipsh*t coaches like Rivera and Shula. Total embarrassment and missed our chance at something historic. Instead, we are going to settle for occasional playoff appearances and zero rings.

This is exactly what I said was going to happen.  Dont tell me that Norman wouldn't have stopped that second touchdown and also  allowed the safeties to defend the rest of the field and stop those big gains that are killing us.  So you bring in rookies and jags that are getting burned on every double move they see. Safeties dont know who to cover since no one can be trusted including the linebackers.

Look at how terrible the secondary is at this point.  Dont tell me we couldnt upgrade at this late date with just about any veteran we could find sitting on the couch.  We can stop anyone at all.  I have said over and over, it is the defense and special teams that are killing us not the offense. Once Newton started checking down and throwing in rhythm instead of holding it and trying to whip it into a receiver, he looked pretty good.  If he got the benefit of yardage he lost on all of those pass interference calls, that would have been completed passes if they were not mugged, he had well over 400 yards.  We just have to stop the stupid mistakes and penalties and we can be productive.

But we look like the Saints, we can score but we can stop anyone.  We are 29th in points surrendered at 29.3.  From number 6 last year at 19.2 to 29th a full ten points worse, I can see where Norman would have accounted for at least 7 of those.
