Same team from last year minus norman and add KB.

Yea DG really fugged us.......

Same team??

Sanchez is playing because of Gettleman

Worley is playing because of Gettleman

Coleman switched positions because of Gettleman

Roman Harper, Courtland, Tilman all veterans that could help this team that Gettleman didn't value gone.

We drafted 3 kids who weren't even all that great in college and put them in a division with Drew Brees, Matt Ryan/Julio, and Jameis/Evans.

Roll your eyes all you want to. Thats not the same damn defense

Lol...  great job minimizing the damage he's done.  He publicly humiliated and then released the top corner on the market, who happened to be an all-pro corner, capable of shutting down his side of the field.  He also refused to show any interest in bringing Peanut back, whom happens to be a likely future hall of famer.  Jared Allen, also kikely a future HOF'er retired, which gettleman couldnt really help.  Harper was not retained.  That left the secondary decimated and lacking talent, experience, and leadership.  That's not a small potatoes issue...  as youre seeing on the field.

Then the "same team" trope becomes a problem too, considering keeping the same team intact, even though that's entirely false, wasn't acceptable to begin with.  As constructed, that same team lost the superbowl because they werent good enough to overcome denver's pass rush AND bad officiating.  We needed to upgrade (see:mike remmers, michael oher, slot reciever, defensive end).  Gettleman didnt.

In a year we shouldve been upgrading aggressively, he chose to downgrade and save some money...  oh, and brag about it.

If the biggest failure by a front office in NFL history does not get him fired, then nothing will.

The coaches can not do much with what they were given at DE and DB. Had one of the best defenses in the NFL until Gettleman got a hold of it. This is worse than gutting the WRs and screwing around with the OTs to start 2014.

Belichick, Carroll, or Arians would have been openly pissed with a GM pulling this kind of poo.
