Well this is super concerning... Cam asked not to run.

When asked about the lack of running from Cam today he said "I do what I am asked to do"

I realize the coaching staff may think handcuffing Cam and now having him run may keep him from getting hit, but handcuffing Cam and not allowing him to play like the MVP of last season is really hurting his game which is based on big plays and emotion.

I was noticing this as well and honestly I don't think it was the wrong move.

If there's any team that historically goes for kill shots on cam it's the Saints. Cam didn't keep the ball on a single read, but they still had a DE diving on him every single time, ready to hit him.

This is the new normal and I think it's the right move.

    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
    • Definitely epic tv..... A man who wont cheat for a poke dont want one bad enough.
