27-17 Cards

there just isn't a logical counter our D has for success when they run pass plays within Johnson, Fitz, Brown and Floyd.

If we had Oher I might take us out scoring him but we are so weak at OT that it makes a difference vs a great opposing D in a game we would need to score 30

Oh ye of little faith, stand fast against the winds of fear and loathing.

Our once mighty team that ran rough shod over the league a mere season ago has now fallen victim to injury and complacency as the ticking clock on this season draws near the point of no return.   Adjust those feminine under garments that have crept deep into your tender nether regions.   The boys from Kakalacky are going to nut up and reclaim their rightful place among the elites where they belong.

So quit your bitchin and enjoy the ride.  Come hell or high water our boys are going to fight to the end.  So stop being such pussies and get on board or get the f*ck out.

Many years back, we had a pivotal game against the Cards and Kurt Warner. I predicted that we would win and why. My prediction basically came true. The crux of my thoughts hinged upon our pass rush and an aging Warner's mobility.

Now the players have changed drastically, and we aren't nearly as experienced, and we lack that star power and solidity on defense---not only on the line (or so it seems), but certainly in the secondary. So I can't get a solid enough handle on our team to "go there."

I believe that we may be able to stop Palmer and the Cards, but between our lack of pressure and our secondary that could explode or implode at any minute, I don't know if we can exploit an aging, slow Palmer or not. I don't think we are in his head, as much as he in his own head. He's at that point where good teams make him question whether or not he should give it all up and go sip mai tais in Maui. I just can't say for sure that we have the personnel to push him closer to that conclusion. But, what I will say is that I think that we can outscore them with a solid showing.
