I've never watched a draft before though I'm reading up on it. Tried the fan-sided mock and there are some ridiculous falls for players. Just tried drafting from the seahawks position at 25 and got Jamal Adams! Last week I got the Alabama DL Allen in the 2nd round. Which is daft.

 Not sure I'd be thrilled with the Carolina pick at #8.However if we traded down? I like the schedule next year. I think Carolina are in a false position and Cam will come back strong. Fix OT and improve either RB or DE and pick up some (realistic) depth players in FA? We're cooking with charcoal in 2018...

Round 1 Pick 8: Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama (A)
Round 2 Pick 8: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama (A)

Robinson is the stud OT we need and Howard is the best TE in this class IMO. Great hands and solid blocker. 2 TE sets with Olsen/Howard would great for adapting the offense to play to Cam's strengths. 

Round 3 Pick 8: Adoree' Jackson, CB, Southern California (A+)
Round 4 Pick 8: Eddie Jackson, SS, Alabama (A)

Adoree' Jackson is projected as 1st-2nd round pick and would be a steal early in the 3rd. Bonus for 4 return TD's this year (2 punt, 2 kickoff). Eddie Jackson is coming off a nasty leg injury but also has return potential as a former CB turned safety. Think he's an upgrade over Boston at FS. 

Round 5 Pick 8: D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas (A)
Round 6 Pick 8: Ryan Switzer, WR, North Carolina (A+)

Can't see Foreman falling to the 5th round but is a physical runner who could be groomed to replace Stewart (Stew has been mentioned as his NFL comparison). If you want more quick hitters/slants in this Panthers offense then Switzer is the guy. Compared to Edelman for his quickness, soft hands, and toughness. Would love to see him as the slot receiver. Perfect fit for getting Cam into a groove and going uptempo with the offense as many have wanted.

I just chose Fanspeak's criteria for everything. All of this stuff is going to massively change by the time the senior bowl and combine are done.  I just did another mock draft after fanspeak updated their big board post-National Championship, and the simulation had 3 QBs in a row drafted lol which would be a dream senario for the Panthers (Trubinsky to the 49ers, Kiser to the Bears, Watson to the Jags wtf) so there is a huge pool of top shelf players at their position at pick 8.

I find it hilarious in every simulation I've done McCafrey goes to the Patriots every time lol it never changes. This Draft is ridiculously deep at Defensive End and Cornerbacks. Barnett looks good but there is so much DE talent I dont think we should be taking one not named Myles Garett in round 1.

That is amazing. I don't see the panthers signing 3 more WRS and not releasing anyone , or signing 3 in general. I like the Boldin + Jackson , we do need a veteran guy who can catch anything and a speedster with hands that's great.

I don't think Adams will make it to pick 8 but if he does we pretty much need to scoop him up immediately . Draft looks pretty solid.

I only use CBS or draftrek.

3 QBs taken in the top 8 picks. Adams falls to us. The top OT  Ryan Ramcyzk falls to us at the top of the 2nd round (which is BS but this is a mock draft sim) . Panthers decide to get serious about protecting cam so they pick up Antonio Garcia in the 3rd and John Heck in the 6th. . Get the project DE that could be amazing but could be a total bust who really knows. This draft is really focused on the two high round OTs . Adams likely is a stud, if one of the OTs ends up being good the draft is worth it. Gettleman has already said some bs about not over reacting to the OT situation in the draft but he said something quite simular last year about Norman's situation and he ended up drafting 3 CBs. I wouldn't be suprised if he got 2 or 3 OTs or 2 or 3 DEs this draft if the cards fall right into his lap like this one.

In Free Agency we pick up Desean Jackson and either bring back Peppers or sign Jason Pierre Paul.
