Honest question... when they bring Butler back, instead of cutting Love or Soliai... Should the Panthers look at scratching Tolbert as a runner and replacing him with a TE as a blocker?

Hell Tolbert could probably play LT better than Remmers.

Tolbert sucks. But I'm not blaming him though. Its all about the system. Shula is fuggin fat Tolbert up. He's not your traditional blocking FB.

As fat as he is, he's pretty agile. Tolbert needs space. He can't run the ball but he's a pretty good receiver out of the backfield. Tolbert would be in the Pro Bowl on another team and we'll all be scratching our heads. Shula did the same bull crap with Smitty89 and crybaby Dwill.

Considering all the TE's the Panthers have been bringing in lately, I think the writings already on the wall for Tolbert there. #bringbackswolebones.

Yeah I think it's time to let Tolbert go.  He's past the point where he's a weapon for us - just seems to fall over at first contact and half the time when he's blocking it looks like he's just getting in the runner's way instead of effectively blocking anything.

I love him but yeah...

I want to root for Toll-Dozer but its hard for any of our backs to run the ball, except for J-Stew who has to fight for every yard.  With that being said I hope he doesn't ever run the ball again.

Either find a new role where we can utilize his talents or send him elsewhere

Tolbert has always been a RB more than FB.  In his prime he wasn't a good  tradiontal FB. Now he sucks as a RB.  He is too slow now and now every stands him up.  Wasted downs

Stewart can barely muster a yard per carry what the fug is the point of giving Stewart anything?

Who? We played a great front with a backup LT, C and RT.  That is why Stewart was shutdown.  Every other game he grinds on people

    • Wide Receiver: Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers – 85.3 One of the more shocking developments of the 2025 NFL season has been the Carolina Panthers’ ascension to the top of the NFC South, which they achieved with Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers. Perhaps nobody has made a bigger difference than former eighth overall pick Tetairoa McMillan, who continued to be a steady presence in the Panthers’ offense. McMillan caught six passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in the win Tight End: Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers – 91.1 Evans only saw the field for 16 snaps, but he was efficient in his limited playing time. He caught all three of his targets for 23 yards on just six receiving snaps while also grading well in pass protection (72.2 grade) and as a run-blocker (68.4) Edge Defender: Nic Scourton, Carolina Panthers – 77.9 The former second-rounder out of Texas A&M has been a force along the Panthers’ defensive line, and he was a key contributor in Carolina’s huge win over the Buccaneers. Scourton recorded two stops as a run-defender and added another while in coverage. Scourton also tallied his sixth sack of the year while contributing another pressure to the mix Safety: Lathan Ransom, Carolina Panthers – 75.7 Another Carolina Panther on this week’s list, Ransom has typically been stronger in run defense — he carries an 85.2 grade in that field on the season. But Sunday against the Buccaneers was his best day in coverage. Ransom intercepted his only target, which wound up being the game-winner that put the Panthers in the driver’s seat in the NFC South
