FRIDAY: Panthers release injury report for Sunday night's game

The Carolina Panthers are still holding out a glimmer of hope that defensive tackle Maake Kemoeatu will play Sunday night against the New York Giants. Kemoeatu practiced on a limited basis during Friday's light practice and coach John Fox declared him questionable on the team's injury report.

However, right guard Keydrick Vincent (groin) missed his third straight day of work and is doubtful. Look for Jeremy Bridges to get the start.

Also, wide receiver Kenneth Moore (hamstring) is out, defensive end Hilee Taylor (calf) is doubtful, defensive tackle Gary Gibson (hand) is questionable and linebacker Jon Beason (illness) is probable. Beason did practice full and should be fine for Sunday night's game.

Although he did practice on Friday, Gibson's injury is a bit of a concern......

I think the O-line will be fine. As for the Dline it probably depends on our scheme, whether Jacobs is healthy, and if we can make them one dimensional. If we get pressure and contain the run we should be fine. With the weather likely cold and snowy, I doubt anyone throws for 300 yards. If the weather is bad it should be a low scoring affair.

I wish Hilee Taylor would get healthy, as he hasn’t played since the Green Bay game.

He’s looked like a legitimate third-down pass rusher in the few cases we’ve used him. He could prove useful in the playoffs as well. I know Johnson has the quickness too, but it wouldn’t hurt to get the kid out there and see what he can do.

Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
