If Your Life Depended On It....Cam, Russ or Carr?

Also, I have to add, Carr or Wilson behind this OL with little to no run game to speak of.

It's really obvious that some people here truly lack a very basic understanding of football or team sport in general.

THIS. Anyone who doesn't choose Cam is a casual football fan at best and shouldn't think otherwise or they should be punched.

It all depends on what type of offense you are wanting to run.

Carr fits the manager role best. He's going to kill you with his arm, not his feet.

Wilson is the best improviser of the 3. He's more elusive than Cam imo, though Cam is harder to bring down. Part of that is due to the angel that seems to sit on the football every time he throws up a duck.

Cam is the dual threat QB. He can run it, he can throw it. But the downside of Cam is his flamboyance, swag, ego, whatever you want to call it, has pissed off a lot of people, mainly refs. He doesn't get the protection other QBs get and he is asked to take more hits than any other QB in the league under our offense. This will lead to a shorter career IMO.

If we are going to get an OC that will build an offense around Cam instead of trying to have Cam be everything, then I'll take Cam. If we are going to keep letting Shula beat Cam into the ground, then I'll take another QB. I don't want to see Cam's career cut short because Shula keeps using him as a RB.

If you are coaching an NFL team and had to win a game with your life on the line who would you choose all things being equal????!!!

I would honestly take Cam last and am not sure between Carr and Russ Wilson.

Hate to say it, but it is the truth.

Depends what all things be equal means.   Weak OL and weak ground attack?  Cam all day.

Great OL, great run game?  I might lean Carr over the other two just as a pure passer because that is all I am going to do with him.

Dude Derrick Carr looked like hotshit in Mexico last nite. Burrito style. Cam 1st, Russell 2nd.

Depends on the situation.  I wouldn't rank any positional group 1-10 and want that ranking to apply to all scenarios.

    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
    • He was a more accurate passer at 56.2%. That's what I mean. Even by outlier standards, this dude was inaccurate. Closest I can recall to something like that would have been one of those GT QB's like Reggie Ball. Career 48.6% passer.
