Foreman has faced off against weaker rush defenses though. So while those YPC averages look impressive, they're really not. Cook faced off against five solid rush defenses and still accumulated over 1,600 yards and a 6.08 YPC average.

Cook isn't faster than Foreman by a little. He's at least moderately faster. Once he got space, he embarrassed secondaries with his speed and agility.

The kid is perhaps the most decorated Miami-born RB thus far.

IDK, Cook didn't really produce much against the top rush defenses.  NC State was the top rush D they faced, and they held him to 65 yards.  Louisville was the next best, and they held him to 54.

Like I said, I think either one would be great.  I'm not trying to discount Cook.  I still think Foreman will be the more attractive back to our FO, due to his size, style, and blocking ability.

My opinion, you can't go wrong with Cook, Foreman, Fournette, and McCaffrey.  I even think Joe Mixon from OU would be a good get as well.  Phenomenal receiver out of the backfield.

Fournette is a once a generation talent.  I'm okay with it.

Also, I literally can't tell when you're trollin or not.

I have been pretty consistent for years that I think investing heavily with draft picks or money in RBs.....isn't good business to me.   Definitely not trolling.

You get an OL and any RB can run.  You can get a super stud at RB like a Todd Gurley.....and having a freak show RB still doesn't make a run game.

I just think in terms of value a high first round pick can be better at a different position.

and I don't but the once in a generation talent.  Bama probably doesn't think so.

Watson is the best player in the draft, I hope he falls to a good team tho.

Watson post Pitt game finally looks like the Watson I thought would represent all season.  Can't figure it out but something had been off with him all season.  He was still ballling but there was always a tad off all season.   That hurt his stock IMO.  His downfield throws most of this season had been consistently iffy.  I know he had a lot of Ginn type drops but his ball placement downfield was off.

There are only 3 true gems in this draft class. Allen, Garrett, and Fournette.

Say what you will but drafting Fournette would give us the best rb prospect since Adrian Peterson.

Damn I hope we get Fournette. I just can't imagine Cam Newton and Leonard Fournette in the backfield. It would be amazing, I hope we trade up if we have to fug it we need another spark on this offense.

I don't think he will last to 7. He is a better prospect than Elliot and Gurley were and I can't see 6 teams passing on him.

    • I thought he started to develop good chemistry with Coker over the last half of the season.
    • To put it in perspective, this is a deep ball thrower. Notice how the efficiency basically has minimal drop off regardless of range. This is Bryce Young The other QB is Joe Burrow.
    • It really isn't though If you were to go out to a bar every week of the season, even to just watch one batch of games, i.e. just the 1 pm or just the 4 pm, and spent only $30 a week, you're looking at $540 bucks, $510 if you're just going for the 17 weeks your team is playing, assuming no national games. Also, from past experience, it's hard to spend only 30 bucks if you're at a bar for 3+ hours to watch the game.  Even just a small appetizer, a meal, and say 2 beers was going to run you $40ish, and that was back in 2019 when I used to go to BWW to watch all our games pre the Covid year when I just started finding streams and stuck with that until YouTube got the package from DirecTV. At $450 for a full season, to be able to watch every game, to be able to make your own quad box, to be able to switch between the sound for any game (at a bar in Michigan, I would never get to hear the commentary on our games)... It's really not a bad deal, and that's if you're only watching your team's games.  If you're a fantasy football junkie like myself, then it's a flat out steal, as depending on your TV set up, you can get every game from your fantasy matchup playing.  I do a projector with a quad box on it, a local game on the TV, and then if needed, I can put another game on my laptop and another on my phone.
