If I had to make a list of Panthers I would least like to take a NFL hit....Thomas Davis would be #1.

KK Short however is on his heels.  I imagine I would look similar to Cousins with just a push.  Can't imagine a real hit.

Semi serious question - is Thomas Davis the best player the Panthers have ever had? In terms of productivity, leadership, longevity, everything. Is he just the best? That man is a legend

I think his knee injuries will unfairly keep his career from getting the big picture respect his play probably deserves

if TD never blew his knees out...he likely could be the Panther GOAT

Mills coined the Keep Pounding phrase, but Davis is the living embodiment of it. 

He probably won't get a statue out front but his name better be in the ring of honor when he hangs it up.

Actually, I think that the recovery from the injuries and the level of dedication to great play he had after the injuries will be the selling point to get him into Canton. It will be the attention getter that gets the voting group to then really pay attention to just how phenomenal he has been.

Really, one of the best linebackers to have played the game. Complete and well-rounded skill set, a tackling machine, game winning interceptions, pillar of the community. Really, Thomas Davis didn't come to us as this guy, he grew through adversity and became something really, really bordering on the legendary.

I agree he is one of the best. 

Need all the window dressing IMO to make the HOF.  He didn't get his first Pro Bowl nod until last year....which is comical.   Knee injuries derailed all that bullpoo.

I could name a few current players, that if they had a fraction of TD's self motivation they would be pro bowlers instead of JAGs

Not sure what else I can say about the man that hasn't been said already. I can at least say that whoever puts together his career highlight reel is going to have a such hard time choosing the best of the best.

Was just getting ready to say, wouldn't it be awesome if a lot of our other players had his work ethic, and self motivation?  I don't see how we couldn't be NFC champs every year, even if they're not all as talented as him.

I love how fired up Luke got.  Those two guys really motivate each other to take their play to the next level.

Thomas is a machine. That play was awesome, as he took on anyone who got in his way.
