Putting our "woes" into perspective

When the Jews were freed from bondage in Egypt, some wanted to stay because even though it was terrible and degrading, it was consistent and they knew what to expect.

Sure the desert can be terrible (losing a Super Bowl), but I'd rather get closer to an ideal life than be complacent in suckery (90's Bengals).

This past season may ultimately turn out to be a good thing in the grand scheme of things. It was a huge wakeup call.

The good thing about getting to the dance fairly recently, and doing it in a historical fashion, is that we absolutely know that our FO and coaches can get there. Now, after this past season, they've truly learned that they can't afford to be complacent on any aspect of the journey. If you've listened to their pressers, you know that they know that the status quo is unacceptable. If you've watched even their manners go from supremely confident---boarding on egotistic---to still confident, but overtly stoic because of the bitter taste of defeat, you realize that they plan to do everything in their power to spit it out and replace it with sweet victory again.

The Browns, Bengals and Bills haven't had the taste of victory in a long while. They've forgotten what it tastes like, so we have that advantage over them if nothing else.

Been there twice since '95.

Falcons been around longer, only been there once with a loss to the Broncos in 99.

Matty Meltdown has only won 1 playoff game out of 5 total.

So, you were saying?

Lol...Matty tied with T-bow in Po wins...

At least then we'd know we're bad every year. Better to be the Bengals, Lions or Bills this year than to see a SB team go 6-10 when everybody expected another SB appearance.

Bring back neg rep so we can neg loser fairweather fans like this into oblivion please.
