It would be catastrophic.

But at the same time, let's not bash this young man who cost his team big. I don't know if I'd be able to handle it any better. Or I might even just walkout on my post game presser.

Dont be the people we hated when they reacted the same way to Cam's post game last year.

'You show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser'

I dislike Odell because of his on field antics last year but it would be hypocritical for me to get upset at players who openly celebrate wins and openly show their frustration when they lose. Honestly, I think more emotion (positive and negative) is good for the game and entertainment value.

I know he's good but he's also way overrated imo. I would take Brown, Jones, Green, Dez, Hopkins, Thomas and Evans all over him. Yet the media acts like he's the best.

Only brown and Julio are better and Hopkins is a toss up. How can you be overrated and have better stats and production then the other guys mentioned.  I know it's an opinion.  But Dez doesn't really show up honestly.

Meh, I wouldn't say Beckham is struggling as a player because of Norman but his image has changed drastically since the incident though.

His image in the Carolinas, maybe. Most people don't know / care too much about the Norman beef.

You're crazy. He's arguably off the best three year start for any WR since Moss. He's legit

People handle things in different ways. Odell shouldn't be banging his head against walls, but I still wish we had a receiver that cared a tenth as much about winning as he does

woah woah woah, you ever watched AJ Green play? He has put up stats on a way more consistent basis until he got hurt around the same time Luke did, they were already eliminated so the Bengals shelved him as well. Throw on the tape. He's as good as they come.

Let's be real... how did the Giants even end up in the playoffs anyway? No way in hell they were gonna beat Green Bay. Just like no way in hell Dallas will beat them either. Their boat fiasco has absolutely nothing to do with why they lost, they were just simply outmatched

Well, they were in the playoffs because of how their defense played the last half of the season.  And I do think they had a shot to beat Green Bay, but the hail mary at the end of the first half and little help from the offense probably doomed them.

But I think the comments are more about how such a trip would be played up in the media if it were Cam vs how the coverage since it was Beckham.

Giants were missing their top edge rusher last night, weren't they?  I would say that would go further in explaining their loss than their top diva being hung over.

AJ Green is a stud and is probably top five, I certainly think hes better than Dez. I just think that AB,Julio,OBJ, and Hopkins are a touch better. But if he's in the same class with those other names its not a knock at all.

And stats way more consistently then who exactly? The only guys mentioned who stats arent really reflective of their "elite" status are Hopkins and Dez. But Hopkins has never had a qb worth a damn.

Agreed. The media is all over him because he plays into it. Whether he's getting his ass kicked by a net or punching walls, he's like a kid acting out to get attention. Plus, that 1 catch was frikkin awesome!

    • Truth. Like when UNC hired Butch Davis and then we get hit for recruiting violations. Like yeah, no poo. Dude coached Miami when they we paying like the 33rd NFL team. What did you expect?
    • He's a hard player to rank, cause he is a young NT. I do see his abilities to branch out among the DL. That's the only way for him to land in the 1st, some team has to believe he's got the stuff to play DE or T3.... I just don't see using 19 on him, I feel there should be around 7 players just ranked higher than him for the Panthers team.  ___________________________________________________________________   Now you are a roster nut like me. Im tossing this into fire, I think a good move is to trade UP, yes rare. Just the roster #s tell me 5 rookies and no more than 2 starters will make the team. I feel 5 is magic number.    QB- 2  BY, Pickett RB- 3   Chubba, Brooks(pls), etienne TE- 4   Sanders, Temble, Evans, Draft pick/major/franks/UDFA OL- 10   Walker, Lewis, Fortner, Hunt, Motown, Zavailla, Samac, Stone, Draft pick, Draft pick/Charles/carter WR-  6   Tmac, XL, Coker, Metch, Horn, Tremay   offense=  25 with 3 draft picks   DL-  6   Brown, Brown, Wharton, Ray, Cam, Hunter/draft pick Ed-   5  Phillips, Nic, Prince, Jones, ST/incoom/hampton ILB-   5  Lloyd, Wallace, Bam, Claud, draft pick CB-    5 Horn, Jackson, Thor, Evans, draft pick/CSN/UDFA SS-  4  Scott, More, Ramsom, Sim   Defense = 25 with 2 picks   ST = known 3+o+d = 53 roster   SO I see only room for 5-6 with factoring in UDFA pool. That tells me to trade up! Bonus the 1st+3rd gets in front of TB yucs. Then use one of the 5ths+2nd to draft another target. That's your two starters and use the 4th, 5th and 6th for the development OTs and what ever the best player are at the pick/DB. The last couple years they have added 2-3 UDFA each year, maybe the same this year too. Soooooooo Im normally 95% trade back, but above made me change my mind. I do not want to waive 5th rounder, I feel thats high with players on the bench.    ?? There's waiver claims too, they have done that each year.
