What helps our team more?

Watching this Ala/Clemson game has me thinking about some different scenarios for the draft.

What improves us the most?

Cam Robinson instead of Oher

O.J. Howard instead of Dickson

Mike Williams instead of Funchess

Leonard Fournette instead of Stewart

Jamal Adams instead of Boston

Derek Barnett instead of Addison

John Ross instead of Ginn

Tie between Howard and Adams. Dickson and Boston are arguably two of our worst starters.

A Grear pass rusher would allow us to get back to getting pressure with just 4 men which in essence helps the pass D which was ranked dead last in the league. I'm going with Barnett but we should keep Addison too.

Broken down like that, Adams > Boston.

But, age is a factor too. Stew will be 30. Olsen is 32. CJ is 32. Oher is 31.

I'd take Fournette. Robinson isn't a LT in the NFL and Mike Williams is as fragile as they come. If you don't want Fournette for some reason, give me Barnett.

Obviously I'm on the Barnett/Fournette train but Boston sucks so bad that Adams over Boston is the answer here.  However we should sign a FA SS and you can never have too many pass rushers, so that shouldn't be an either/or.

As far as potential goes, all of those are upgrades over what we have. Key word being potential.

I would like Hooker or Pepper at safety. Like an OT or RB in the second. Hard to predict once you go beyond the first round. You have to see who is left.

I suspect several of the guys you mentioned will be in play. What I said is I wouldn't pick them. But then again I am no professional scout so what do I know. I wouldn't have picked Butler or Shaq the last 2 years either.

Fournette and then Barnett are 1 and 2...

Even if Allen or Garret were there, they would still be 1 and 2.
