I would like nothing more then for him to be there with the number 8 pick. But for that to happen other individuals have to do well at the combine and there pro day.

So Cleveland takes him at 1? or SF at 2? or Chicago at 3? or Jax at 4? 

 

You could make a case for Chi or Jax. But, this is how I see it. Chicago will take Allen if he's there or a QB at this point. They don't have a future plan for Cutler. He's done in Chi. 

For Jax, Gus Bradley is gone. Ain't gonna be a legion of boom 2.0 down there. Tom Coughlin is running the show and we know he likes pass rushers. If it's not Allen or Solomon Thomas at 4, it will probably be a running back.

I really don't foresee myself being pissed at anyone we pick on day 1.

Right now, my top 5 list of crushes at 8 go like this:

Player        -       Availability

Myles Garrett - near impossible chance

Jonathan Allen - low chance

Jamal Adams - pretty low chance

Leonard Fournette - good chance

Solomon Thomas - very good chance

Even then, I'd have about 5 other people I wouldn't mind.

This is pretty much my list only i have LF at 1. The rest are all kind of a toss up for me. Would be happy with any of these guys

This is basically where I am too. I'd also add Malik Hooker to the list. Any of those 6 I'll be extremely amped

I'm leaning more and more toward Adams but I agree the odds that he drops to us are slim.

Love Adams. Would hate to see him or LF in black and blue but would cheer for them none the less.
