Who do you guys think our next FA signing will be?

Extending Kalil is a no brainer, his cap hit is way too high right now. Something has to be done with JStew also but it's not as cut and dry as Kalils contract. I expect Gano and Dickson to be cut any day now pretty much freeing another 6 million in space. Overthecap has us at 37mill, it includes the KK tag but not sure about Addison and Horton tho didn't see them. Those two cuts will have us back in the 40+ and could be back near 50 mill if Kalil agrees to retire a Panther. Great spot to be in with Addison and KK already counting!

Well it's going to be one of our own players- so I'd guess Norwell then an extension for Trai

Beat me to it.

Norwell is a no brainer. Dude is solid for us.

Turner... sure, but not pressing. Still have a year.

Ryan Kalil was just extended in June. I'm pretty sure the discussion is about Matt Kalil

Restricted guys need to be tendered soon. Not sure of deadline but Norwell is a no brainer to slap a 2d round tender on. I wouldn't be mad to see Philly receive a late round tender as well. Wouldn't guarantee him a roster spot but he's good for at least competition in camp.

Ginn and CJ are the other 2 Internal free agents I'd  like to retain and would likely come fairly cheap.

In terms of unrestricted free agents no idea who will we target, need to see how much cap room we actually have come March  9th to gather any kind of idea who's in play.

Assuming we're talking solely about outside FAs and not about signing our own, then I'm hoping that it's an OT, SS, or WR.

There are numerous OTs and SSs on the market who I'd be happy with.

If I'm gonna throw out an individual name though, I'm gonna go with a WR. There's a particular guy out there who went to a certain school that normally I would prefer to stay well away from a WR from that program. They've cranked out numerous busts in recent decades including a couple of former Panther 2nd round draft picks. But, this is a guy who has played at a consistent level despite not having an elite QB or a particularly prolific offensive system. He excels in the slot, but has played well outside as well. Basically, we can put him on the field wherever and he's likely to produce at a good rate. Hell, I'd like to see him play outside when we have two WRs on the field and then kick him inside to the slot when we put more than two WRs on the field. It'd require him to essentially learn two positions, but if he can handle it, let's do it. It'd be another one of those "upgrade two positions with one signing" type deals kinda like how I feel signing a legit SS would be. He's not a guy who's going to come in and be a superstar, but he'd instantly be our most reliable WR.

Oh yeah, the guy's name is Robert Woods and he currently plays for the Bills.

    • I mean, no I’m not going to panic when he got 2 Qs and looked great in 1 and looked not great in another (let’s not mention the drop).    Yeah we finally have a team that would be considered average offensively around him. Let’s roll this season.
    • The woe is me everything but Bryce sucks mantra is stale af my friend. Look nobody here is going to argue with the fact Frank Reich was not a good head coach. At the same time. Bryce Young is now in his second season with his second coaching staff and a handpicked young offensive head coach who has been known for working with QB's such as Baker and Geno. As far as the offensive pieces around Bryce we have the 4th highest salary cap allocation (that might be even higher now after the new Moton deal) dedicated to the OL in the entire league. We have 2 first round WR's one of them 8th overall the first time we've ever selected a WR that high in franchise history. And the fact of the matter is Bryce Young did not have a good preseason. It's not the first time it's happened either. We all hope to see he and the rest of the team flip a switch in week 1. But we should all be able to agree that the offensive performances we've seen from the entire QB room (Bryce included) in preseason was simply unacceptable.
    • We have seen Bryce play… what… 9 games with AT BEST what one would consider NFL average WRs? You just can’t see the forest for the trees and keep going back to your lazy take of revisionist history.    he looked AWFUL Y1 with the worst coaching I’ve ever seen in the NFL and one of the weakest WR rooms I can recall. He looked awful first half of y2 and great second half of y2 with average coaching and average skill position. I don’t know where this elite talent argument even comes from.
