Not really, he seems to be in a sweet spot of pass rushers.

I'm not sure what that actual average height is in the league but its probably a little different then what evaluators would want in a perfect world.

Taco definitely fit the mold of what "ideal" it today.

Shocking that Barnett was under 260. I want to see his arm length and hand size. If it's average or below, some teams will be put off by him physically.

I'm not overly suprised. Fantastic edge rusher but still question how he'd hold up in the run game.
Reminds me a ton of a young Demarcus Ware. Think the kids best fit is a edge 3-4 rusher. Read somewhere that some scouts feel he'd be best fit there as well.

Keeping my eye on it as well

We've already met with him at the senior bowl, and if youve looked at gettlemans draft history. A majority of guys he's drafted, we met with at some point whether senior bowl, combine, etc

I'd watch Avery Moss as well for day 3. Similar to those other two measurement wise (6'3", 264, 34.5" arms, 10.38" hands) and was a standout at the Shrine game. Can't confirm front office met with him there but hard to think they didn't.

I've been pondering on the topic of "ideal" DE for us, and how it might have changed, for awhile. Not going to clog this thread, but it is a good topic to get into.

I still think this draft overall talent wise is one of the better ones and if we were to have a bad year this wouod be the best time draft wise to.

Though as far as protecting Cam. Our OTs are Weak and this is a weak OT class. Meanwhile we do have a good interior with Norwell, Kalil, Turner. And this interior class is Stacked.
If we had a extra 2nd, that Ohio State Center is going to be a stud and would be good for a Kalil replacement to Groom.
The Temple OG and Indiana OG are both impressive.
Was unsure about Lamp and didnt believe the hype, thought he'd be a tweener and hard to hold up in a NFL Bullrush. But he just put up real good bench press #s

Is that potentially too tall? I know there is a lot of talk about bend to get around tackles on pass rush and guys like Miller and Beasley are 6'4" and 6'2". Only Danielle Hunter (6'6") and Chandler Jones (6'5") in the top sack leaders in 2016 are taller than Miller at 6'4". The other 5 are 6'1" to 6'3".

It's a bit of a concern, not gonna lie. But, Julius Peppers and Mario Williams are both 6'6". And honestly, I'm not sure if the concept of "too big" even occurs to Dave Gettleman.

By Temple OG are you talking about Dawkins? He played tackle at Temple as did Lamp. It is assumed they will play guard in the NFL and honestly, I am not so sure.

Also, as far as bull rush goes, I'd think that would be Lamp's specialty. It is counted as a strength for Dawkins as well. I posted it in another thread that honestly, it wouldn't shock me if they ended up being solid tackles in the NFL. I think they are being overlooked a bit for "ideal" tackles when they are likely better players overall, just not ideal height (and arms for Lamp).

Yeah thats where most are projecting them. Believe thats where they played at the senior bowl as well

Dorian Johnson is a guy that has to get a look now. He was a HS LT, big time LT recruit that was switch to LG at Pitt. He doesn't have the "prototypical" height, but ticks so many other boxes. He is a guy that has "slid" in mock draft since the NCAA season ended for no reason. Guy will be a steal, at worst a rock at LG who can spot start at LT. He is a much better prospect than Turner.
