REPORT: 49ers Interested With Fournette At #2

For those of you (including me) with hopes that Fournette drops to #8 with a deadly combo of him and Cam, well, some people in the 49ers office are having dreams of Fournette's doom.

According to Kevin Jones of KNBR - a radio station - he has heard that the 49ers are high on the idea of Fournette at #2.

Literally makes no sense at all in any way, shape, or form, but they like him. Hoping it's a huge smokescreen, but it's rather interesting that Shanahan has him highly regarded when they have clear pressing needs elsewhere on the roster.

Thanks for sharing. Speculation leading up to the draft is fun. Of course they are highly interested. I'm sure every team is interested in him. A top ten player is on everyone's board no matter what.

Whoever is our top choice, i already figured would be gone when we pick...  because in typical panthers fashion, we can't even commit to sucking when we suck to get a higher pick lol.

Smells, Mike if you'd allow him would throw 100% of the time. Plus Hyde is a super sleeper, he's got everything.

I'm beginning to accept the fact that Fournette won't be available at our pick. Just don't see a player of his talent level being available at #9
