Thomas Davis baptizes Daryl Worley (warning: religious people inside)

I think this is very cool for a few reasons.  First, you have a guy with character questions last year at this time dedicating himself to his religion, one where he should aspire to be the best person he can.  But even more cool is who's baptizing him--TD.  This is a very personal and important thing to most people who do it, and Worley is giving TD the privilege of performing it.  I think our locker room is going to be pretty solid for as long as he wears the uniform.

This defense is going to be elite again this year. We have a community built on accountability. We take a guy like Worley who as the OP mentioned had character concerns and have surrounded him with high character veterans.

Now he has a responsibility to hold himself accountable in the locker room for the sake of these around him. This will breed success.

Whether you are religious or not, this should be inspiring to you as a Panther fan. Players like TD aren't all about himself but those around him. And now he is bringing that mentality to our younger members. That's awesome.

Now Worley isn't playing for just his teammates on the field. He is playing for his who he calls his brothers off the field.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
