Other teams "sniffing around Carolina's interest in Fournette."

Insider Charles Robinson was just on the radio, and mentioned that during the combine, numerous times had approached him trying to get insider info on how Carolina felt about Fournette.

Other than other teams doing this really rustling my jimmies, it's something that probably need to be looked at.

There has already been some light discussion in the past about Cincy wanting him and possibly jumping us, but if I had to put my money on a team?

Freakin New Orleans. They've witnessed him first hand over the past few years and he's a hometown hero. Their fear of him coming to us very much rationalizes their recent desperation in regards to moving a good player in Brandin Cooks. Last I saw, the Titans were the front runner for getting the trade done.

Tennessee holds both the 5th and 18th pick in the draft. 5 obviously jumps us on its own, and packaging 11 and 18 is enough to jump as well.

Either way, new orleans is a swamp drenched in the odor of urine and failure.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
