If AP is still unsigned after the draft AND we don't land an RB in the first 3 rounds.... I wonder if he really would be in play for a 1 or 2 yr deal.

I really think he and giants are both crazy if they don't come to terms on a deal.

Better fit for Detroit.

Nah, the suggestions aren't working with the text boxes. Anyway...

"He's gonna have to rebuild his confidence. I mean he was shook. Let's be honest. I'm not going to lie about that," Rivera said at the Annual League Meeting Wednesday morning. "The young man went through a tough time and we went through a tough time. Why? Because of the injuries that we suffered on the offensive line. That was probably was the biggest thing. It just kind of shows you the more of the importance of being able to protect your quarterback."

God I hope that's a smokescreen comment.

If it isn't, case in point why this offense is so freaking bad and why he won't be here next year if they continue to be. The offense is on downward trajectory and no the answer isn't on the roster from a playmaker perspective

Ron Rivera says Cam Newton will have to "rebuild his confidence ... it was shook, I'm not going to lie." Rivera stressed the importance of an offensive line taking care of a quarterback.

dayum.. having Swiss cheese for an oline will do that to most QBs though

I don't know why people get excited about interviews with head coaches in the NFL.  They are 99% of the time just fluff and PC answers.

Yeah, but that seemed like a total lie, or total delusion. If you're going for PC, then at least have a hint of subtleness. Otherwise, you look delusional. No Panthers fan wants to here that poo.

If RR feels good about our current TE situation, then he's the only one.

If Greg goes down, a significant part of our offense does too...  Just like with Stewart and at OT, we got to have a better plan for this year if he were to go down.  Ed Dickson is who he is.  He's not terrible, but he doesn't change the way a DC prepares in the least

I'm still not comfortable with the current offensive line. I feel like we are one piece away from having a stable and good line.

I understand the way you feel but we are already in better shape than last year.  It's hard to build quality depth at every position.  Kalil, Williams, Oher (who I truly believe will play) and a draft pick is much, much better than what we've had out there since Jordan Gross retired
