Walter Football's Latest Mock Draft (4/4) And Boy Is it Ugly

R1 P8 : Dalvin Cook (with Solomon Thomas and Derek Barnett still around)

R2 P8 : Dawuane Smoot DE (Not sure how I feel about undersized DE at pick 40 many more much better looking players around this pick)

R2 P32 : David Sharp (who the fug?) OT 

Pick 98 (also known as our compensatory 3rd) : Damore'ea Stringefellow WR (Eh..)

R4 P8 : Roderick Jonson OT (decent I guess for a 4th rounder)

R5 P8 : Chad Williams (Who?) WR

How would you feel about these picks? not a single player i particularly like. Two middling WRs, a couple project OTs , an undersized DE, and Cook and his wonderful companions. Oh Joy.

Minor correction. Walter has OJ Howard as the first pick, Dalvin Cook is Charlie Campbell's from the previous day.

This pick may seem strange because Greg Olsen is still a terrific player. However, the Panthers, like the Jets, take the top prospect on their board, regardless of need. The best player available could definitely be O.J. Howard.

Besides, it's not like the dynamic Howard won't have a place on Carolina's offense. Teams have used two productive tight ends in an offense before, and Cam Newton could use all the weapons he can get after his troubled 2016 campaign. Besides, Olsen just turned 32, so he probably has two years remaining in Carolina anyway, as his contract expires in spring 2019.

 

His website navigation is really wonky and jumps between his and his partner's randomly.

 

Edit: Actually, that is mostly Charlie Campbell. Walter C. has Alvin Kamara at 2.8 and S Josh Jones at 2.32. He has OT Taylor Mouton in the 3rd and DE Demarcus Walker in the 4th. The Chad Williams pick is right, though.

Most of the mock drafts are created with one or two teams in mind and these idiotic mock drafters fill the rounds with their perceived pick and fill the blanks in afterwards. 

That's why you see for example a second round pick sliding all the way t the 3rd round.  Most likely that Mock Drafter is also a fan of that player that slide a whole round for no apparent reason.

Their mock drafts are freakin terrible. I've been watching them since the beginning of the year. Each update gets worse and worse.
