Character concerns, poor pass blocking, not the athleticism that others offer, questions as a 3 down player (from other online smarty pants)

Good football player - in certain situations, yes.  He's not an offense defining player.

I'm mostly just repeating things about him I've read online.  I have no real opinion there.

He was not nearly as athletic at the combine as you think he would be given his best attribute was his speed and athleticism and that to his poor pass blocking and character issue and these are pretty big flags.

He visited the Jags, they hopefully will target him for their 2nd Round pick and pass on Fournette.  And they were established in 1995.  And they have a cat nickname.  That's as close as he'll come to being a Panther.

I haven't seen where the accusations where that bad. I think he should be in the conversation for us picking a RB.

Whether he should or shouldn't be isn't an issue here...the issue is his record and rumors of a "questionable" entourage...the Panthers won't look his way thanks to a couple screw ups....remember this is the Bible belt still and public perception is a pretty big deal to our organization not matter how small minded and outdated it may be

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
