I honestly would like the McCaffery pick a lot more if we had a competent Offensive Coordinator.

Yup.. I am sick of daddy's boy! and this team with this much fugging talent shouldn't be having a 15-1 season followed by a fugging 6-12 season.

I wish I knew how likely a DG trade up into the first mght be.

It's after 1:30 in my time zone and I'm fading.  Have an 8 a.m. meeting.  Got to decide whether to sleep or keep hanging out here...

This. Shula inspires no confidence in utilizing this young man to even 10% of his potential. Maybe we're setting the groundwork for the WR Coach to take his job.

If by some miracle we trade back up in the 1st round, I keep thinking Njoku the TE.

But might it be for a hog-molly?  Robinson?

Or an edge rusher if Barnett keeps dropping?

So many opportunities (in addition to the opportunity to stay put and take 3 excellent players tomorrow).

Man Cleveland has 2 firsts and 3 seconds in next years draft

I want to say that they will find a way to screw it up.  But man, they have made some really good decisions.  Congrats Bears, you are the new Browns.

Go sleep man. Not worth it. You'll know sooner or later.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
