I believe you are correct or atleast they were planning on giving him a lot of playing time. Coaches really liked him but he had injuries. If I remember correctly his injury wasn't that serious but we needed room on the roster so we put him on IR.

 

someone else we shouldn't sleep on is Blechen. I remember last preseason he played well when moved to safety so maybe a year on the PS at safety will make him good enough to make the roster.

So we are keeping 3 Strongs and 1 free?  I am guessing Marlowe, Adams, and Coleman are locks.  Blechen is an "in the box" SS (see Harper, Roman).  I am not that familiar with Marllowe's ability to play free safety.  If he cannot (and I realize the S roles are rather interchangeable in this system) is this a competition between Marlowe and Bletchen, while we still need a FS.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
