I hear lot of boo hoo from die hard DG fans  so let's play little game. 

Whats your outlook for this season  are we gonna be  just .500 , playoff team or SB winner and if we do win will you give credit to Ron Rivera or say this was success based on DG cause I know soon as we lose 1 game ppl gonna call out the pitch fork on Rivera

We're going far this season because Gettleman being fired right before the season doesn't do much at all.

For our future, I have no idea. Gettleman never believed in windows, and what he was building appeared to be what we needed for success. 

Now it looks like our window just showed up and got a whole lot shorter.

I thought we had a great offseason and we're probably looking at 10+ so long as we stay relatively healthy.

I wonder what they'll say if we win a super bowl with Gettleman's roster, "whoops, maybe we shouldn't have fired that guy because he didn't want to give a huge extension to a 34 year old LBer"

Firing Gettleman should boost club morale.  The veteran guys are going to dig in harder knowing that they aren't going to be just cut because they performed well.  It's going to bring the TEAM closer together instead of driving individuals to worry about their own stats and how they may appear to the next team they have to sign with after DG lets them go.

 

Therefore, my choice is Superbowl Winner.
