You've basically suggested that Marty is going to be the GM, so none of this should be a shock. I will concede that it's concerning, but it's not like he's going to make Kuechly a safety and Stew a receiver. It's only concerning because of the unknown.

You've basically suggested that Marty is going to be the GM, so none of this should be a shock. I will concede that it's concerning, but it's not like he's going to make Kuechly a safety and Stew a receiver. It's only concerning because of the unknown.

Hurney is an inferior talent evaluator to Gettleman, and it isn't close. Any I put Hurney has in regards to the roster is a downgrade from what it is currently.

Even if that's true, which it doesn't necessarily have to be, then perhaps Gettleman is better suited to running our scouting department.

Well you have to give the guy at least 3 full seasons before you can honestly and accurately judge him. Too many fans get pissed when every draft pick doesn't make the pro bowl within two years. A lot of players have to take their lumps and find their niche.
