Humorously ironic that Olsen was the "he don't want none!" guy after dodging his 'matchup' with Pep.

That was the whole point as to why he did that, even mentioned it on twitter how everyone was in on the joke except CJ  yelling out 'he don't want none'.

I remember we used to call it Oklahoma drill but it was a little different. Two players started on their back about 7 yards apart, with two cones in the middle  representing the goal line. One was the ball carrier, the other was the defense. The whistle blows, you get up and head straight towards each other. Normally the one who got up the quickest and got the momentum would win. The whole team watching normally brought out the best in everyone.

There are a metric poo ton of variations, I grew up with a different more aggressive version, similar to yours but not laying on the ground and with a blocker for the ball carrier.
Which is something NFL teams never do now, injury risk too high. But man was it fun, I remember looking forward to the first padded practice all through summer.

That is the way we did it. I didn't mind going against bigger guys as long as they weren't bigger and faster. Most times I was up with the ball and moving toward the line while they were still getting up. It wasn't I was so much faster, it was I was playing with fear of getting crunched. I played safety at 150lbs in high school. Had to make up for lack of size with speed and effort. We never had an option to decline.....

We used to do something called "Bull in the Ring".  One player would get in the middle of a human circle made up of your teammates.  The coaches would silently call out players making up the circle to run as fast as possible and smash the "bull" in the middle of the circle.  Not sure of the purpose of this drill, but it sure taught you to keep your head on a swivel.  LOL.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
