The Ringer On Superbowl Contenders - Panthers "Hard To Find A Flaw"

A very bold statement indeed. Robert Mays of the NFL show known as "The Ringer" says the Carolina Panthers have no flaws, saying it's hard to find one at 30:42.

If you look at our starters, it's very hard to find any flaws indeed. Sure, our WRs have a lot to prove, but they're doing work at preseason and on the practice field. Can't say much until the regular season actually starts. Sure, safety and corner depth are concerns, but starters are very stout.

Otherwise, I agree. Very hard to find any flaws at all. What say you?

Very true. Maybe you have more time than I do to go into more in depth on draft capital/value on our roster compared to others, but it doesn't take long to see we have the most talented roster in the entire NFL, by far.  #fact

Well is our players aren't very flawed and we are a losing team...one can only use logic and look elsewhere.

Apply that to years going back to 1996 and there you'll find the issue.

The biggest weakness on the team is the coaching staff.  Specifically Rivera, Shula, and Dorsey.  There are other coaches that are good.  But, that is clearly our biggest weakness.  Always has been.

People have talked about being nervous about San Francisco.  IF we lose that game, we should not have a coach.  The team should take over,  Varsity Blues style.  Cam and TD the captains of the O and D.

I'm a homer and there's no way I'd say we have no flaws. This guy is crazy

It's all relative.  Hopefully Gano is cut-our only MAJOR flaw would be keeping his sorry a$$ on a relatively big contract.  Our other flaws are relatively minor to even other contenders.

Before any of our tackles prove they can at least be a solid starter (and no, Williams has not, he was beaten out by Remmers for a reason), I find a huge one.

But hey, it's the preseason. Every teams* fan base are allowed to dream.

*Except the tankning Jets of course

nice work.  The over/under for "shula" whining by someone who has never played a down of football much less been responsible for an NFL offense is generally 7.5 posts.  It came a little early this time so good job.

    • I'm right there with you, brother. I've been a Panther fan since the day the team was awarded to the Carolinas.  We've had some good years, a couple of great years, as well as some low periods and no consecutive winning seasons. But I never thought I'd see such a period as we have over the past several years.   It has gotten to the point of being rather apathetic in watching them. In fact, I told my wife before the Miami game I was watching just to see what new and creative way they lose another game. And early on, it looked like they would. But damned if Miami wasn't more creative than the Panthers.   I'm now older than my Dad when he died (he was 65) and, like you, I've wondered if I'll ever see them have another winning season. I'd sure like to think I will.
    • again, I am not his employer, I dont follow his stuff or read any of it including social media, but he has been employed long enough where someone thinks he is doing a good job, not disagreeing he isnt an moron but I am not calling for anyones job for being a moron when it really doesnt affect me
