They're not trading him to us unless we overpay.  His $5 million cap hit next year would mean no Star or Norwell.

He can also be cut after this year and carry a 1.8 mill in dead money.

He's also only 27, if he comes in and plays up to the level of a #2 im sure we can work on an extension to lower that cap hit.

At some point this organization needs to address the WR2 position.

He wouldn't solve the WR2 issue at all.

Another chink in their week 2 armor, but holy smokes are they loaded for bear in the draft.

great thing is that we dont have to play them next year.

The Pats and Dolphins records will be inflated by the Bills and Jets this year. Hell the Pats will probably run the table on the Dolphins too. Point is, all this talk of the Panthers having a weak schedule is poo when NE has these three to play against 6 games every year.

Lol

He's never even had 700 yards despite some big roles the past several years and isn't even going to make it as the Hawks 3rd wideout this year. Both Locket and Richardson have moved ahead of him.

*sign* And to think, Lockett was on the board when we drafted Funchess.
