If he'd have agreed to a paycut I'd have offered a 4th straight up. Hard to believe that's all they got. Steelers likely back half of the draft order and Brown top 5, so this is pretty much moving up around 10 spots in the 5th/4th... 7th round or 6th round value? He'd be a better compliment to Greg than Barnidge who everyone here wants.

Nice move by the Steelers, picked McDonald up for almost nothing. However, McDonald isn't very good.

Also kind of exposes the myth that the 4th preseason game is for bubble guys to make the team. The teams know now, 48 hours before the 4th preseason game what their final rosters will be, and thus are trying to get something for a guy they won't have after Saturday.
