Dalvin Cook

He was pretty pedestrian for a good portion of the game yesterday. Myself and a few others were in the gameday chat talking about it. Dropped a critical third down ball early on.

But of course we get this idiotic overreaction thread once ESPN posts his stats on Instagram.

Seems to have gotten a good chunk of garbage time yards.

How was Dalvin Cook going to help our passing game? That's where the Panthers needed the most improvement, Cook is not the receiving threat Mccaffrey is coming out the backfield. As far as running goes we still have Stewart who is serviceable and Mccaffrey ain't no slouch either.

I wish people would chill out we picked the right guy for this offense. Saints have literally the worst defense in the league, Cook didn't start breaking runs until after Bradford started scorching that secondary.

We should find a way to trade every single pick for the next 30 years so that we have picks 1-32 in the first round.  It would be perfect because Hurney doesn't miss in the first round, and he's absolute trash beyond it.  Plus, it would stop stupid threads like this from happening.  Brilliant.

Slight correction

it was actually SF who "literally" had the worst defense in the league and far and away the worst run defense.  Also this whole garbage time thing, he got the majority of his yards in the first 3 quarters not only that but we were up by 20 and still couldn't muster more than 3.2 ypc. So yeah theirs a lot hypocrisy going on here.

I guarantee you San Francisco's defense will be ranked higher than the Saints this year.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
