Nah, I can't give him credit for that.  Sure he has some insight that other coaches wouldn't, but we moved the ball...  we just failed when it mattered.  Shula may not have called a worse game in his tenure here.  He is getting more horrible with each week.

I'm not giving Shula a pass on this...

It all falls on Rivera imo

Here's the deal......It's not all on Shula. The sacks on Cam, go take a look at them and how long Cam holds the ball. Cam HAS to be quicker with his reads and decision making. We have weapons. Imagine Aaron Rodgers running this offense. This is mostly on Cam....Now MAYBE receivers aren't getting separation, but this is just too common a theme.

Watch the play call. Watch where the receivers are suppose to be getting open. You'll notice the receivers are running long developing routes that is on play calling. We have all this speed and we are still running Funch, KB, and Sheppard vs our speedsters. Then they do a sideline pass to speedsters hoping they'd run....it's just dumb.

I cant decide if offense is garbage or if it just looked like garbage since we were playing McDermont.  KB's (understandable) drop cost us 7 and Cam missed several wide open receivers again.  Could have easily been 23-3 again.  I think (hoping) it will look much better against the Aints. Also hoping that Olsen being out will spark us like the KB injury did in '15...

That was on TD and Coleman dude

You do not understand the responsibility of the CB in a cover 2. It was not man coverage. He is responsible for every receiver in his zone - even if it is 3. He must split the receivers distance in his zone and keep his eye on the QB. He got caught playing man on McCoy. TD had the underneath zone on McCoy, and TD trusted Bradberry would recognize his switch, but Bradberry has to be alert during a play to realize he has to rotate in a zone.

He will figure it out by his 4th season.

McDermott knew he would bite in zone coverage and take his eyes off the QB. It is a bad habit he keeps showing every game.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
