Yes but Tocho is more of a FS, same weight as Earl Thomas.

that makes more sense. Im all for some depth, if coleman or adams go down it could be very problematic. Still wish we could find some SS depth. Adams being 35 worries me a bit more than Coleman who is essentially in the prime of his career.

All teams work out free agents every Tuesday during the season. Signings out of these workouts are rare, and the ones that do happen are usually to the practice squad.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I wouldn't get too excited over regular Tuesday workouts.

Yeah, it can happen, but don't get your hopes up.

    • Not realistic but I understand the sentiment. I would have already been shopping him around the league to gauge interest and see what the returns might be if I were Dan. I think it's going to be a situation that the franchise needs to save face and offloading him is going to be seen as a sign of defeat. Not saying it will end up that way but I can see it happening.
    • I bet my opinion of ‘why’ will not align with yours.   I see it as people are resorting to arguing false premises. We see it daily in the real world.  Their motivations are what they are, I could say it is because the real doesn’t favor their feelings. But I can’t really know that. I don’t know why a person resorts to that but it happens all the time.    PS and BTW, Underhill wasn’t alone in arguing that, and I don’t think he was the instigator, he picked up the torch.    I take back my apologies to these folks because now I see what their claims were based on. False premises.
    • I think by the end of this season we really need to have a good idea. I suppose the picking up of the 5th year option seems relatively inevitable unless he falls off a cliff in terms of performance.  I suspect this decision on his future will still be unanswered during his 5th year.
