He's not avoiding them.  He honestly doesn’t know how to evaluate a teams strengths and weaknesses. 

He and Ron are old school to an extent.   Their philosophy is that it doesn't matter if the other team knows what we are going to do, it's up to them to stop it.  They think that if these players would just execute the play properly then it will work.   They cannot recognize a flawed play design because to them there isn't any.   That's why you never see any adjustments after the half.  In their minds it just the players not executing those cant miss plays that genious that is Shula has given them.

Honestly, Im not sure we can do anything on them either.  They have the blueprint from the last two games on how to stop this offense and we know Shula doesn't adjust.
