Panthers have moved up quite a bit in these so far after the win in New England.

7 seems a bit high I think 10-13 is about right but who am I to complain?

ESPN's rankings never make sense. Buffalo beat Atlanta and didn't move up?

New England is 2-2 yet still top seven on espn. I don't think we're a top ten team, but... let's just call a spade a spade. New England should rightfully be somewhere in the bottom half of the league right now.

I think the Panthers should be right around 10 right now.  I also don't mind New England being that high, either.  They're 2 -2, but both of their losses are to the 4 - 0 Chiefs and 3 - 1 Panthers.

Some of these are just based of if the person making them likes the team or not. Power rankings are fun to talk about but completely pointless as there is no actual statistical formula used to formulate the rankings

If we beat Detroit and Philly next week , we should be in the top 10 on every list.  Next week is crucial beyond words and were going against much better overall teams than we played against the whole season so far.

"Opponents are still completing 71 percent of their passes against Carolina, but Peppers is at least knocking them back a bit." LOL .

But maybe not though, I hate how our secondary still getting shredded . And with Coleman out for a month , Stafford and Wentz are going to be taking some deep shots against us. And Wentz has the oline to do it a number of times.

we just beat the patriots and have a better record and they are still way ahead of us?

well.. to be fair, they also only beat the team who beat us and the Texans who were starting Watson for the first time. i think a mid-tier ranking suits the Pats right now.

Not sure who does ESPN but we are always dead last every week of teams with the exact same record and behind at least one team with a worse record. Clearly they hate us.

Yeh, I saw other rankings where the panthers are below 2-2 teams but others are high. It's a popularity contest.

atlanta should have dropped more. I saw they dropped to 4, Patriots dropped to like 13-14.

atlanta should have dropped like that. Bills have a good defense but atlanta was the heavy favorite.

panther beat Patriots in New England, which is brutal. That was impressive.
