Back to back to back plays. Should have had back to back sacks and you see he's closing the pocket in on the 3rd despite being 50 pounds lighter than Charles Johnson who's play is downirght useless, what's his excuse

Nice one calling CJ out and praising Shaq Thompson using two plays that show CJ running textbook outside contain and one where Shaq loses gap control and misses a tackle to let Stafford escape the pocket.

The first one was pretty. It showed both his speed, and his bend. Textbook.

The second one was gorgeous as well. Showed off his power. Man, if he could have just finished it off.

The third one was again a thing of beauty, until he lost contain trying for the sack. He once again showed power, driving his man into Staffords' face.

Hey, I'm easy. Let's do more of this.  The kid showed he defiantly has the skillz to get the job done ish. I absolutely love that Wilks is willing to be aggressive. And I am willing to bet, the players love it as well.

Outside contain? This isn't the run game. CJ hasn't been getting any push this season.

CJ is bad on all plays trying to get to the QB

And star had that sack, stafford somehow managed to escape, thats not on Shaq

We pay CJ $4M a year. That's 37th in the league for DE's (Peppers is 40th at $3.5M mind you LOL!). He is what he is at this stage in his career. He's not going to be an All-Pro. We pay him to be serviceable. You shouldn't expect much more out of him. We paid Addison to take his place as DE1 then brought in Peppers to rotate who, I might add, is absolutely outperforming any expectations 99% of us had.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
