Ryan Kalil is most likely not coming back, but if he does, we probably shouldn't start him

Larsen has continually improved and impressed, but Kalil is as good as any center when healthy. Larsen will get his chance to take that role permanently down the road. If not here, somewhere else.

So you're saying the 11 year All-Pro vet who knows the playbook like the back of his hand and more often than not puts the guys around him in the right positions will disrupt chemistry.

How quickly people turn on players. If Ryan is healthy you must put him in. He is the captain of the line and that dictates the blocking schemes. You will see better holes for the running backs when Ryan is in. Larsen did great, and did what a back up is supposed to do. Backups are backups for a reason though.

1. Ryan Kalil is still one of the best... so you use him every second you've got him.

2. If Kalil isn't "coming back", you draft a center high next year and let he and Larsen compete for the job.
