Wilks on Luke's condition

Captain Morgan

Recommended Posts

So Wilks said Kuechly is “fine” and other folks here confirmed he was his normal self today. (1/2)

Now, sometimes symptoms don’t show up right away. Still, the Panthers may have been overly cautious last night and understandably so. (2/2).

Steve Wilks says Luke Kuechly was feeling a lot better today. "Luke is perfectly fine."

It's good Kuechly is feeling better today. But a little context: Often the post-concussion symptoms aren't felt until 2-3 days later.

luckily he's got a long week to rest up, but they need to be overly cautious with him anyway. one more bad one and his career is probably over.

His career was over last year, and now again this year... Honestly he could have 5 more and still be fine we don't know, nor does he or the doctors. You just take it situation by situation and let the doctors give their opinions and Luke can decide based on that. We really have no idea to make a statement like that, which many here have made since last night, and after last year's.

FWIW I got news from a reliable personal source that he's fine and they just wanted to keep him out. Source is a friend, so I would never have posted it as "credible", but it matches what Wilks is saying so it's reassuring that he may be fine and they were being super cautious - which makes sense.

Agreed. It's just us as humans feeling like the third strike should be enough for a player we care about as a person. But really no one knows....

This could be great news. Thanks

    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
    • I think they are watching to see who’s going to be available before they make theirs official. Probably working trades too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t cut anyone today.
