Kelvin Benjamin was the only offensive player defenses had to scheme around

He still had the winning touchdown. you cant say we are better without him. DOnt mention 2015, totally different scenario. MVP cam, olsen, and actual run game.

I've been a vocal KB guy, I don't think there's any way we are better by subtracting KB and adding nothing.

"Midget" he's 5'11. He practices against Mike Evans in practice. He's a top 10 pick and was considered an elite DB.

5'11 was considered good hight for a DB before Richard Sherman

KB is an enormous dude.

I've gone to bat for him here more times than I can count, but he and Funchess have both had issues playing up to their size at times.

This is a stupid trade though regardless of any criticisms.

And yet he still scored the only receiving TD that basically ended the game. Let’s just ignore 2000 yards and 16TDs in his first two seasons receiving. I love Olsen and he’s amazing as a TE, but KB had about the same receiving stats as him in 2014 and 2016 but we just threw him away for a late 3rd and a late 7th. Garbage. You’re a huge Newton fanboy and you know he’s pissed. Pretty sure that was his wife tweeting to TD.

Please actually take a second to read and comprehend my posts.

I'm not defending the trade.

does it not tell the GM something is wrong, that he is being manipulated, when two prodigy former employees crave retrieving a former a player

Im really having a tough time believing hurney could possibly lack such rote intelligence, there's got to be something sinister at work here

KB basically got shut down by a midget against the Bucs.

Even if I were on the fence about KB as a player, this trade and the timing is just plain awful if we get no immediate starter in return.

We already have a big slow wide out with better hands. KB very rarely caught the ball clean. Got shut down by smaller corners and very rarely fought for it on a 50/50 ball. Hopefully this will go back to 2015 where Cam will go thru his progression more instead of locking into KB.  And Stewart at HB WR1 Funchess slot CMC and Speedy wr at 2.  Because clearly 2 big slow WR’s wasn’t working.  But at this point I’m scratching my head and mumbling to myself, and trying to make since of what just happened but the best this team has ever been was the year KB went out with a knee. But deep down I know this is a boneheaded :poo: move. That even I can’t defend.   So let’s see what happens only the future can tell.  But if it turns out like I’m afraid it’s going to I’m gonna turn into Red and Tiger JR and fire every fuging body

There is something else to consider. Next season KB's cap hit goes from 2.4 to 8.4 million in his final year under contract. For months and months everyone on here wondered how we would be able to re-sign Star, Norwell and Peppers. Now maybe we can.

You can’t be real here. Such a bad trade it’s ridiculous. KB had a bad game yet he still scored the game winning TD on a 3rd and 16.

The play you are referring to should have been happening consistently at this point. Thats what's been so frustrating about him. I hate to see him go but i was still in the mindset of i didn't know how good he was gonna be and he was due a new contract soon. Im mad we didnt get a player in return instead of just picks
