Positives to the KB trade

Instead of packaging next year's second, Hurney will probably trade both 3s to trade up and draft that Div.III OT in the 2nd.

We can finally make fat KB jokes and people won't get mad.

We'll use that seventh round pick to draft a kicker!

Panthers' best season came with Ted Ginn as the #1 receiver -- there's a non-zero chance that the offense will stay the same (or even pick up a bit) in KB's absence. Even if not, two picks for a player who clearly wasn't being re-signed isn't a bad haul at all.

What if we get Nick Chubb instead would it be worth it?

We could of waited until his contract expired and received comp picks while still having him on the team during a playoff push.
