Putting Corn on IR was a mistake.

I'm not censoring you. That's my point. Just stating that you constantly badgering for nothing but positivity is actually counterproductive to the point of a nessage board and annoying. But you do you. As you said if dissenting opinion bothers you so much then take you own advice.

You are not trying to censor me. Yet you use words like "Badgering", "Annoying", and "Take your own advice". Sounds an awful lot like you are lecturing me.

You say tomato, I say censorship.

I have just as much right to annoy folks with my positivity, as they do to irk me with their negativity. Even Steven.

And if I do say so myself. Positive thoughts are much better on a human, than those pesky negative ones. So I am actually doing this board a solid.

Nobody is squashing negative opinions.  Some are trying to debate them with facts. The culture here is overwhelmingly negative and when it coincides with a good season it needs to be debated against.  Especially with a situation like this when it's not even attempting to be based on the reality of the situation.

I agree with you on the context of this thread. Which is why I said not this thread specifically. I was just making a general statement about posting habits. I mean I find persistent nonsense negativity just as annoying, and threads like this one pointless, but I also see their value to the overall health of the board in as much as shutting them down is destructive to the nature of a discussion board.

All I'm trying to say is that you need both positive and negative perspective for discussion or its not debate and this board is pointless. Don't put your own opinion on such a pedestal and you won't be bothered as much by negativity.

Did Hurney or did he not run the Panthers into the ground in terms of cap space and overall depth of roster? Did he or did he not leave us saddled with multiple awful contracts?

The only thing Hurney did consistently well was hit on 1st round draft picks. That's it.

I wouldn't be concerned if I truly thought he was just the interim. I don't think that's the case at all. He'll man our draft, we'll "interview" some Rooney Rule patsy and Hurney will get a shiny new contract as the Panthers' "new" permanent GM. If it doesn't go down that way I'll be shocked. Elated, but shocked.

What does this have to do with Corn Elder being in a cast currently?

Nice dodge.

Not at all. I thought you replied to the wrong thread. My point exactly is people get so off track and bring in unrelated situations on to a very specific topic.

Elders situation is not related to the Hurney interview process. That doesn't change anything about the condition of his knee. And Captain will play unless he's got the flu so this is all about nothing

I do not feel my opinion is better than anyone else's. Well, there are  a few up in here that could use some help. But that is beside the point.

You are not very good at this diplomatic thingy are you? Putting folks on the defensive is not a good way to promote good will.

Still dodging. This thread wasn't purely about Corn and his knee now was it?
