I would actually love it if Wilks was demoted back to secondary coach or moved on elsewhere.

I really think Wilks has hurt this defense so far. I love him owning up and fessing up saying we need to do this and that in press conferences, but I still see the same mistakes made over and over again on defense.

Not even McDermott. As a matter of fact, McDermott didn't take a single assistant with him.

Now granted, the Panthers could have denied interview requests for guys like Will's, but as I recall, McDermott never requested interviews with any of our coaching staff.

There's Brandon Beane of course, but he's not a coach.

Nobody wants Mike Shula as no damn HC. I said for a long time, Ron should take over the defense and hire a better OC. Guarantee this team be much better.

Rivera thinks Shula is doing a fine job.

Of course, Rivera also thought Sione Fua was a good player.

More to the point though, Igo has said that Jerry Richardson is a big fan of Mike Shula for historical reasons (i.e. who his daddy is).

Basically, unless somebody offers Shula a head coaching job (college or pro) he's probably here to stay.

As bad as he is and as much as I don’t like him I always wonder how much Ron has to do with Shula being terrible. Ron is pretty stoic on the side lines but does he override Shula in certain situations? Like do you think Shula wanted to go for points before the half against the Saints and Ron said no? Does Ron make the call to go conservative on offense and play prevent D anytime we have a lead? 

The same thing goes for Defense. Wilks likes to blitz and bring the heat but once there is a lead it’s the same shitty prevent defense.

Any time we have a lead it’s the same story. Go conservative on both sides of the ball and let the other team climb right back in. Seems to be more of an issue with the head coach than anything else. Some times you should sit back and let your coordinators do their job.
