He didn’t mean it they way you think. He was talking about the TD to Funch and was just saying he did everything “wrong” there and that sometimes you have to do that. He either just messed up his words like he very often does in press conferences or he was joking.

The quote taken out of context makes it sound completely different than what he meant. It wasn't a slight on the coaches at all.

Nobody agrees with me but my initial reaction was he was talking about overcoming Minnesotas coaching because it was a good scheme by them. Cam had to scramble and buy time and wait for Funchess to get open
