More Baldy Breaking down panthers

Shula magic.  Now that everyone is doing what they are supposed to, the offence looks good again.

Cam throwing well,

Greg Osen looking like Greg Olsen,

McCaffrey being a mismatch so that we can steal easy yards.

WR's blocking.  We were not getting that early in the year.

Oline getting blocking assignments and not whiffing.

Gonna be great.

Its a thing of beauty.

At least until there are 22 minutes left in the game and the Panthers have an 11 pt lead.  Then Ron’s balls shrink up into his abdomen and the beauty gets flushed down the toilet.

Sad but true.  I think that's the drawback/price for having a defensive minded head coach.  On the plus side your defense is usually going to play well.  On the negative side, they always think the defense can get stops.

It's weird because every Monday on panther talk he discusses the importance of winning the time of possession battle. Yeah ok Ron guess what works better than that. Winning the fing points battle.

    • Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is putting the league on notice early into his NFL career, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is well aware.  “I think he’s a stud,” Shanahan told reporters Thursday. “He’s going to be one of the best receivers in this league sooner than later. He’s got all the skill sets to do it, and I think he’s just getting started.”  Through 11 games played, McMillan has racked up 748 receiving yards on 54 receptions. He ranks sixth in the NFL in receiving yards and leads all rookies in the category.  Carolina selected McMillan as the No. 8 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. San Francisco had the 11th overall pick.  Did the receiver out of Arizona catch Shanahan’s eye in draft preparation?  “Yeah, big time,” Shanahan said.  Shanahan also said that he thought the receiver would be taken well ahead of the 49ers’ draft position, but the team did their due diligence when scouting the best overall draft picks in the 2025 class. With McMillan off the board, San Francisco ended up selecting defensive end Mykel Williams with the 11th pick to bolster its defensive line. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/kyle-shanahan-tetairoa-mcmillan/1893558/
    • Koochie is playing his best hockey yet so far but it’s a small sample size
    • In basically every win but Atlanta he's had 2-3 plays that were a big deal but he also was part of why we needed those 2-3 plays instead of just cruising.
