The guy everybody interviews but nobody hires

Marc Ross, who just got passed over for the Giants GM job...again.

The Panthers certainly haven't had any issues hiring people who have been passed over before, and Ross fits the profile.

The problem: Hurney is under contract through June, and it'd be no shock if someone else hired Ross before our new GM search even gets started.

Yep, we need to get this ownership situation figured out ASAP. I know nothing will he announced until after we're done playing but I hope things are getting hammered out behind the scenes. I'd be shocked if Hurney is retained by new ownership. I also wouldn't be surprised if JR has his puppets ink his old buddy Marty a retirement package in the form of a contract extension before the sell is complete.
