I'm tired of small 5'11'' receivers wouldnt be suprised if he get hurt just like Samuel and Byrd

How tall you think OBJ and Antonio Brown are? Steve Smith was 5'9. Kirk is every bit of 200 pounds and someone correct me I don't think he missed any games to injury

Big time players make big time plays

If you want me to be honest where we're drafting, we probably won't get any of these players unless we move up. Unless Kirk has an amazing combine if I move up for any player in taking Barkley no question. Cmc getting moved to the slot and 2nd RB

actually like him a whole lot better than those other guys named.

Hes is a way way way better route runner and polished.  Byrd was a track star thus reason he wasnt drafted.  Samuel was Super raw prospect who never really lined up full time time at WR and needed to learn a route tree coming into the league

Kirk also Good hands catcher with great reaction and concentration.  He had one catch in the bowl that really impressed me.  QB fired it quick and by the time he turned his head on the route, the ball was there and hit his helmet yet he hauled it in (quick hands like that is what makes AB so special in this league)

If there isn't a blue chip S or edge rusher (no way there will be one there where we pick) I want Chubb in round 1.

Chubbs not even gonna sniff the double digits let alone the late 20s.

I like Kirk, and I wouldn't be mad with him, but I think there's someone very comparable to him we could get in a later round (Anthony Miller from Memphis) and get a TE/CB in the first, there's a strong chance there's some solid ones left at the bottom of the first.

OBJ AB and Smitty are one in a million players. They arent the norm for small WRs

    • The Bucs waived shilo sanders after he got ejected.
    • I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC
    • Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. 🙃   Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
