The NFL wants Brees vs brady

And it's been apparent since October. They're paving the easiest way for both teams to get there. This is single handedly the worst year of officiating in any sport ever. Grounding? Bullshit. So many holds on us. At least there was no blatant false start fail. No wonder they're losing viewership. This is the next Nascar.

We didn't lose because the NFL is rigged. It isn't.

We lost because we weren't good enough.

I don’t agree that penalties screwed us. However I disagree with you that we weren’t good enough. We were good enough. CLAY or Funchess catch their touchdown and we win that game.

We match them in total yards, match them in almost everything really.

Where we don’t match them is coaching. Cam scored two touchdowns in a very short time when he was allowed to be himself and play like he can. Had we turned that corner earlier in that game we would’ve blown them out.

So again I disagree. However I also disagree that the officials not calling a few penalties also cost us the game.

You guys got fuged so bad. That wasn't even an interception? Ball should have been at the 50...not the 31.How about them making sure the CB had a clear catch for the int??? Had that been a WR no way he completed a football move with full control.

Intentional grounding.  Cam was out of the pocket and there was a guy in vicinity. Ridiculous.

Funchess gets interfered with in enzone by CB not even looking at ball. I kinda blame Funchess for not complaining.

Are u shocked the league office called and made sure the :10 seconds were taken off . But as I always say NO throws n keeps trying to score n almost cost them.

At least Rivera said something. You guys got jobbed.

Won't deny we got outcoached, even with Payton's ignorant ass decision to go for it at the end.

All you conspiracy theorists man.

First it was Ludwig saying it would be Panthers/Patriots. (I noticed he or the mods deleted his topic.)

Now its Saints/Patriots.

After one of them loses, if they lose, it will be someone else. And so we go.

Butthurt fan is obviously butthurt. Dude... That grounding was grounding, they can't not call it after they called the exact same thing on Brees earlier. Open your eyes and see the while game and not just our team

Agreed.

Only two gripes I had was the obvious hold on Davis and not reviewing the interception. It should have been incomplete since he never made a football move.

    • I really appreciate Bill explaining his methodology here because that gives interested parties a chance to try and recreate the results themselves. I believe that it's safe to assume that despite emphasis being placed on WRs that Chuba Hubbard is one of the Panthers' top-5 weapons. Considering targets, yardage, receptions, etc... Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette are also on the list. Jalen Coker's success might have snuck him in there as well. I can't draw a conclusion on who #5 is though. I've narrowed it down to Diontae Johnson, David Moore, Ja'Tavion Sanders, and possibly Rico Dowdle if they're taking into account his production for the Cowboys in 2024.
    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
