Panthers are already saying to expect a veteran hire. Turner was already here as a consultant this past summer. Adds up.

I'd rather have Wade Wilson as the QB Coach.

Wade could be an OC option.  He's never done it but has something like 20 years as a QB coach under his belt.

He also coached Rex Grossman (Super Bowl year) and Tony Romo so he knows gunslingers.

Ron or Norv would be a terrible pick.  Norv was good back in the dark ages, not so much now. 

Someone younger and more aggressive would be best I think.  And someone who will use the read option sparingly.
